About The Opportunity
This project supports a manufacturing site in Belgium implementing SAP PM as part of a broader digital maintenance initiative. The role will move from preparation into testing and training, with additional SAP PM support required on site to ensure delivery without impacting daily maintenance operations. The position suits an SAP PM consultant or junior project engineer who enjoys working close to the shop floor, supporting users, and growing with a long-term SAP roadmap that includes SAP S/4HANA.
Role & Responsibilities
* Support the on-site SAP PM implementation during testing and rollout
* Assist with SAP PM functionality, validation, and issue resolution
* Support preparation and validation of maintenance master data
* Train key users and support user adoption on the shop floor
* Coordinate daily with the central SAP project team
* Act as an additional delivery resource alongside the internal maintenance planner
* Be predominantly on-site in a manufacturing/industrial environment
* Ensure alignment with the project team for SAP PM activities and user support
* Communicate effectively during project meetings with the central team (English) and on-site (French)
* Collaborate with the on-site team to minimize disruption to daily maintenance operations
* Contribute to long-term SAP roadmap discussions related to SAP S/4HANA integration
Must-Have
* Hands-on experience with SAP PM (implementation or rollout projects)
* Strong understanding of maintenance processes and field operations
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Able to train users and work collaboratively in a team setting
* Willing to be predominantly on-site
* English required for project meetings with the central team
* French required for on-site communication
