We are looking for a Project Lead Statistician to join us in our Early Development Statistics team, based in any of our Brussels (Belgium), Monheim (Germany), Slough (UK) or Raleigh or Atlanta (US) offices.
About the role
1. Provide strategic direction and continuous leadership of the biometrics (statistics) team – this can be a Therapeutic Area, Complex Compound with multiple indications, or an expert biometrics (statistics) team in a specific area (e.g., safety, launch, pre-clinical)
2. Determines, leads, influences the translation of strategy to tactical planning, operations, and quality
3. Key member of the Development Team for one (or more) compound(s). Expected to work closely with the Development and Regulatory leads to provide guidance and influence on the overall strategy

7. Accountable for all deliverables from the biometrics (statistics) team to the larger project team
8. Lead and shape the continuous learning and upskilling culture for a modern Biometrics (statistics) organization
9. Drive the transformation of the statistics operating model
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
10. PhD (preferred) degree in Biostatistics or Statistics, or equivalent
11. Several years in a management position of global teams
12. Strong knowledge of drug development across all phases.
13. Multiple therapeutic area knowledge (preferred)
14. Understands how the functional expertise and contributions fit into the bigger picture
15. Proven influencer and collaborator in an asset development team environment
