BelGaN is positioning itself as an open foundry for wide band gap semiconductor technology. Within the process development and integration team, this translates in the implementation of new technology in the existing FAB technology, and/or sourcing new technology and equipment and processes if needed. As a GaN Epi Process Development R&D Engineer, you will work closely with process integration, device integration, reliability and application teams in BelGaN technology department and be a major contributor in the development of new technologies. You will also be responsible for the smooth transfer of completed projects ready for initial volume production, to the Operations teams consisting of MOCVD support, metrology and equipment engineers.
As a GaN Epi Process Development R&D engineer, your tasks will be:
•Development and optimization of GaN MOCVD epi stacks fulfilling the epi specifications provided by your internal customers (being the different program teams).
•IP generation and innovation, as part of the cross -functional project teams active in roadmap activities.
•Day -to -day coordination of the epi internal development activities.
•Interfacing with the MOCVD tool vendor for problem solving and/or tool upgrades required in the frame of advanced (R&D) developments.
Requirements As GaN Epi Process Development R&D Engineer:
•You have a master's or PhD degree in the field of semiconductor processes
•You can look back at hands -on experience with GaN epi technologies
•You have hands -on experience in MOCVD process developments for GaN materials
•You have problem solving experience and material characterization experience
•Communication is one of your strengths, and you are fluent in English
•As a team player, you are part of a driven motivated international R&D team.
