Overview
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join a dynamic project in Brussels, starting 02/03/2026.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines ( Informatica PowerCenter ) for large-scale databases (20TB+) .
Develop Java applications (Java, Spring Boot, Maven, etc.).
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into robust technical solutions .
Ensure high code quality, release management, and performance optimization .
Troubleshoot issues with a hands-on, pragmatic approach .
Work in a cross-functional, international team .
Must-have skills
Expert in Informatica PowerCenter & big data platforms (Oracle/SybaseIQ).
Advanced SQL and good knowledge of Java .
Experience in batch processing, scheduling & monitoring .
Nice-to-have
Experience in banking/insurance sectors (preferred)
Knowledge of data governance / GDPR compliance
Proactive and autonomous
Strong communication & analytical skills
