Roles & Responsibilities
For a leading insurance company, we are looking for a Business Analyst with proven experience in life or non-life insurance. The Business Analyst will play a key role in translating business needs into functional requirements and ensuring alignment between stakeholders, IT, and operational teams.
* Analyse and document business needs, processes, and requirements
* Translate business needs into functional specifications or user stories
* Work closely with product owners, developers, testers, and operational stakeholders
* Support the design and implementation of business and IT solutions
* Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions
* Assist in the testing and validation phases (UAT, regression testing)
* Ensure traceability and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
* Identify opportunities for process optimisation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance sector (life or non-life)
* Solid understanding of insurance products
* Ability to gather and structure business requirements clearly and efficiently
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with Agile or hybrid project environments
* Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., BPMN, UML, Jira, Confluence)
* Fluency in at least two of the following: Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken)
