Location: Antwerp (preferred) OR Amsterdam (secondary).
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in mobile software engineering.
The role
You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down. You are responsible for delivering robust, user-friendly mobile applications, integrating with firmware and backend systems, and ensuring reliable BLE communication and scalable mobile architecture.
What You’ll Do
* You own cross-platform mobile feature development end-to-end across iOS, Android, and React Native.
* You implement and maintain BLE connectivity with hardware devices, ensuring reliable communication.
* You collaborate closely with Firmware, Hardware, Product, and UX teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
* You contribute to app reliability through testing, performance tuning, and release operations.
* You leverage AI development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and security.
* You build scalable mobile architecture using modern design patterns and frameworks.
* You support CI/CD workflows and production releases across app stores.
What You Won’t Do
* Wait for endless approvals.
* Hide behind processes.
* Cruise quietly in the background.
How You’ll Succeed
We look for people who think big, stay curious, and aren’t afraid to go all in to make things happen. You’ll succeed by delivering reliable, high-quality mobile features, making sound architectural decisions across platforms, and ensuring strong integration between mobile apps and connected hardware.
What You’ll Bring
* At least 3–5 years of experience in mobile software engineering.
* Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, and React Native, across native and hybrid architectures.
* Strong understanding of BLE protocols, mobile architecture patterns, and release workflows.
* Ability to work independently and know when to involve others.
* Comfortable with change and ambiguity.
* Know when work is ready to ship and when it can evolve.
* Desire for work to matter, not just exist.
