Hiring: Supply Chain & Shipping Operations Support (Temporary Mission) 🌍📦
Are you a Junior or Medior Supply Chain professional looking to gain diverse experience in a high-tech, international environment?
We are looking for a versatile Operations Support professional to join our Global Supply Chain team at our HQ in Leuven. This is a critical temporary mission (May – October 2026) to ensure seamless continuity during the summer holiday season.
The Mission 🚀
This isn't just one job—it's a dynamic rotation. You will act as the primary backup for several key roles, covering a sequence of responsibilities across Shipping, Purchasing, and Sales Support.
What You’ll Do
1. Shipping & Logistics Administration 🚢
* Manage physical/administrative goods reception and document verification.
* Process outbound shipments in SAP and book transport via forwarder platforms (FedEx/DHL/etc.).
* Prepare critical documentation (CMR, Packing Lists, Pro-forma invoices).
* Handle transport cost estimates and non-performance claims.
2. Purchasing Operational Support ⚙️
* Execute and monitor Purchase Orders to secure parts for production.
* Adjust orders (pull-in/push-out) to maintain safety stock and inventory targets.
* Coordinate with suppliers regarding non-conformities and repairs.
3. Sales Support 🤝
* Review customer orders and manage SAP order entry.
* Act as a bridge between internal production and external customers to ensure smooth communication.
What We Are Looking For 🎓
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
* Experience: Initial experience in international shipping or logistics.
* Tech Stack: Proficiency in SAP (ERP/MRP) is highly preferred. Experience with Salesforce or JIRA is a plus.
* Knowledge: Solid grasp of Incoterms, commercial invoices, and customs clearance.
* Languages: Fluent English. Basic Dutch or French is a strong asset.
