Position Summary:
This is a part-time contract role.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our recruitment efforts and help attract top-tier talent. This individual will be involved in the entire global hiring process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and collaborating closely with hiring managers. A key aspect of the role is shaping a positive candidate experience while ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment journey.
Working closely with the HR Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support all global recruitment-related activities—from job postings to onboarding. The position requires effective coordination, tracking, and execution of recruitment strategies that benefit both candidates and hiring managers. This is a part-time opportunity averaging 20 hours per week, structured as four hours per day or 2.5 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
Responsibilities:
1. Publish engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms.
2. Review resumes and shortlist candidates based on defined job criteria.
3. Conduct initial interviews using behavioral-based interviewing techniques to assess candidate fit.
4. Maintain and update our applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter and BambooHR).
5. Schedule interviews and manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
6. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to gather feedback and determine next steps.
7. Track and report on recruitment metrics, including candidate pipeline status, scheduling progress, and feedback timelines, to inform data-driven hiring decisions.
Education/Experience:
8. Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience
9. Previous experience or academic background in recruitment, HR, or a related field
10. Strong understanding of behavioral-based interview techniques
11. Tech industry experience is a plus
Skills required:
12. Must be fluent in English, oral and written.
13. Strong organisational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
14. Tech-savvy, with experience using ATS and professional networking tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Bamboo).
15. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
