Purpose of the role
As the sales manager for a geographic area, you play a key role in the organization by identifying and converting business opportunities within your region in the large and very large enterprise segments.
Essential responsibilities
1. Develop and manage your own clients portfolio, large and very large enterprises (from MWh tó 25GWh/y of power or gas consumption)
2. Map the territory, Identify opportunities, build a local network (consultants, business clubs), and keep a disciplined cadence of meetings
3. Propose competitive pricing for power, gas and injection
4. Take care of your existing customers, and manage renewals
5. Advise customers about injection & consumption (PV/on-site generation, batteries, EV charging, flexibility
6. Lead and coach the local sales team (1 to 3 persons)
7. Work closely with Operations, Customer Care, and Credit & Collection
Qualifications
8. BSc/MSc degree
9. At least 3 years in B2B energy sales
10. Fluency in French or Dutch and strong English skills
11. Entrepreneur mindset
12. A true hunter mindset: organized, persistent, performance-driven
13. Strong negotiation and relationship skills
14. Excel proficiency (formulas, pivots) and solid CRM/forecast discipline
