Key Account Manager, Spain (Iberia Region)

Location: Spain (Hybrid / Remote)

Department: Sales & Retail Operations | veSync Europe


Overview

As a Key Account Manager for Spain and the Iberian region, you will be responsible for driving veSync’s retail growth and strengthening relationships with key retail and distribution partners. You will manage daily account operations, execute channel and product strategies, and ensure sales targets, profitability, and brand visibility are achieved across both offline and online platforms.

This role requires a strong understanding of the Spanish retail ecosystem, hands-on experience managing major retail accounts, and a passion for building long-term partnerships that contribute to veSync’s sustained market success.


Key Responsibilities

1. Key Account Management & Business Growth

Manage and grow key retail and distribution accounts across Spain and Portugal, including MediaMarkt, FNAC, El Corte Inglés, Worten, Carrefour, Walmart, and Amazon.es.

Develop and implement annual business plans with partners, covering assortment, pricing, promotions, and in-store visibility.

Achieve sales targets and ensure profitability across assigned accounts.


2. Channel Execution & Retail Operations

Support the development of retail and e-commerce channels through efficient sales execution.

Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory allocation, and on-time delivery.

Track sell-in and sell-out performance, identify risks, and propose corrective actions.


3. Commercial & Product Strategy Support

Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to align product portfolio and pricing strategy with market trends.

Monitor competitors and market dynamics to optimize product positioning and trade terms.

Participate in negotiations on assortment, pricing, rebates, and co-marketing investments.


4. Trade Marketing & Promotion Execution


Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute retail campaigns and seasonal activations (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas, Summer Sales).

Ensure strong in-store visibility and consistent brand presentation across all retail touchpoints.

Track ROI and performance of trade marketing initiatives.


5. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, account reports, and performance reviews.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure operational excellence.

Provide local insights and feedback to support regional business strategy and planning.


Requirements

Education & Background

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.

7–10 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably in consumer electronics, home appliances, or lifestyle products.

Proven experience handling major Spanish retail accounts such as MediaMarkt, FNAC, El Corte Inglés, Worten, or Amazon.es.

Strong understanding of Spanish and Iberian retail ecosystems, both offline and online.

Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
