This is a full-time assignment whose duration is estimated at 1 year with the possibility of extensions and which will ideally start at the beginning of 2026.
Part of the mission can (without obligation) be done remotely, but a presence on the Gosselies site of at least 2 full days per week (every week) will be required. Additional days of on-site presence may be requested (on an ad hoc basis) depending on the needs of the department.
As the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, the possession of a driving licence and a vehicle will be necessary for travel.
Context
In a context of transformation and modernization of its infrastructure, the Client wishes to strengthen the coherence, resilience and security of its technical base.
The role requires a deep understanding of On-Premise and Cloud (IaaS) environments and the ability to collaborate on the implementation of effective architecture governance with all stakeholders (Enterprise Architect, Projects, Factory Hosting, Operations Center...).
Strengthen
the team of IT architects to fulfill the following
objectives and responsibilities:
• Solution studies:
* Meet business needs in compliance with the ORES standards.
* Collaborate with technical and application designers.
* Produce and validate architecture deliverables.
* Ensure IT and security compliance.
It will therefore be a question of:
* Understanding the Client's professions and culture.
* Validate requirements at the infrastructure
level - Document the existing IT landscape.
* Define and validate the scope and deliverables.
* Produce architecture deliverables and ensure consistency.
* Validate compliance with IT and security standards (ISO27001).
* Determine the gaps between the existing and the proposed solutions.
* Contribute to the estimation of charges and costs.
* Present the solutions to the Architecture Committee and/or IT management.
• Project management:
* Present and explain the infrastructure architecture to the project teams and factories.
* Identify and mitigate risks.
* Adapt the infrastructure architecture according to developments.
* Ensure the quality and completeness of documentation.
It will therefore be a question of:
* Presenting the architecture in the design phase.
* Identify and mitigate risks.
* Manage the impacts of Change Requests.
* Ensure the quality of documentation.
* Participate in Lessons Learned.
• Maintenance and evolution:
* Supervise the maintenance and evolution of the architecture according to the same principles.
• Infrastructure
Governance - Develop and maintain IT architecture principles and governance at the infrastructure level.
* Actively participate in the required architecture guilds.
• Contribution to IT architecture and Enterprise architecture
* Share lessons learned from solution and project studies with enterprise architects and other IT
architects - If necessary, define the technical requirements and scope in terms of application solution for RFIs/RFPs and then participate in RFI workshops as well as in the analysis of offers, RFP
negotiations and quotations - Develop and maintain IT architecture principles and governance at the infrastructure level.
