Job Summary
As a Pricing Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in transforming and enhancing our pricing processes, tools, and capabilities across EMEA. You'll help optimize net pricing, support profitable growth through value-based pricing, and contribute to our annual business targets.
You’ll serve as a subject matter expert in price data analysis and collaborate closely with Market Intelligence and cross-functional teams to foster pricing maturity within the TIS organization.
Job Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy
1. Partner with marketing to shape pricing strategies for new product launches
2. Balance value, volume, and revenue considerations to drive pricing effectiveness
Price Setting & Performance
3. Support price increase initiatives and the development of pricing structures across EMEA
4. Contribute to formalizing price lists
Pricing Execution
5. Help local teams implement and utilize pricing tools
6. Manage data flows, user access, and conduct training sessions
7. Monitor price performance and recommend process improvements
8. Provide analytical support for regional and country-specific pricing decisions
Pricing Governance
9. Lead and contribute to pricing transformation projects
10. Align regional reporting with pricing initiatives and refine reporting tools
11. Support the rollout of the Terumo pricing framework
12. Collaborate with commercial teams on regional pricing initiatives and training
Information Management & Tools
13. Support compliance in pricing-related elements of JSOX audits
14. Provide detailed pricing analyses, including segmentation, profitability modeling, and margin improvement recommendations
15. Monitor average selling prices (ASPs) and profitability
Data Integrity
16. Ensure high-quality, reliable pricing data to support decision-making
17. Collaborate on Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
Collaboration & Training
18. Build strong relationships across departments and countries
19. Share best practices and enhance collective knowledge through training and active participation in EMEA pricing communities
Profile Description
20. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
21. Strong financial acumen and understanding of key pricing concepts.
22. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
23. Experience in pricing tools, data analysis, and statistical tools (Power BI, SAP, databases).
24. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
25. Proven ability to manage projects and work under pressure in dynamic environments.
26. Collaborative and adaptable, with a global mindset and cultural awareness.
27. Willingness to travel up to 10%.
