We are looking for an Instructional Designer who is proactive, curious, and detail‑oriented to join our Global Quality – GxP Learning (Design & Development) team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine‑l’Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.
About the role
You will design and develop engaging learning experiences that bring GxP documents, requirements, and topics to life. You’re going to assess training needs, shape learning strategies, co‑create content with SMEs, coordinate multilingual releases through our LMS, and continuously improve programs using feedback and metrics. You’ll leverage modern authoring tools and innovative learning technologies to serve diverse learners while advancing our quality learning ecosystem.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate every day with fellow Instructional Designers in the Design & Development team, partner with the Learning Operations team for LMS implementation, and work with Subject Matter Experts and business stakeholders across Global Quality. You may also coordinate external providers for specific projects.
What you will do
1. You will lead training needs assessments and define learning strategies with business stakeholders and SMEs.
2. You will be responsible for designing interactive, user‑centric e‑learning using Articulate 360, Vyond, Synthesia, EasyGenerator.
3. You will coordinate multilingual launches in the LMS (TalentShare Learning) and ensure correct targeting and availability.
4. You will manage projects end‑to‑end: scope, timelines, risks, and communications to relevant audiences.
5. You will evaluate effectiveness through surveys, KPIs, and reports, and iterate for continuous improvement.
6. You will mentor junior colleagues and stay ahead of emerging learning technologies.

For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills
7. Demonstrated expertise in adult learning, instructional design, and e‑learning methodologies.
8. Proficiency with Articulate 360, Synthesia, Vyond; strong visual/video editing skills (e.g., Snagit, Adobe Suite).
9. Experience partnering with SMEs and challenging assumptions to optimize content and methods.
10. Strong project planning and organization; able to run the full learning development lifecycle.
11. Comfortable with audience analysis, tailoring content, and multilingual delivery in an LMS (TSL).
12. Fluent English; autonomous, proactive, collaborative; adaptable to change with a quality mindset.
