About the Role
The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing current and future customer value by defining, developing, and prioritizing the squad's backlog to achieve the tribe's objectives.
You align the overall product, services, and commercial model with customer needs while collaborating with and contributing to high-performing squads. This role reports to the tribe lead and leads an agile squad focused on developing tools and processes for contract negotiation and management within a new IT stack.
Your Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Contract Lifecycle Management
* Drive the Contract Lifecycle Management process (from creation to signature) within the new IT stack.
* Define the contract and customer hierarchy structure within the IT ecosystem.
* Build a contract management framework and maintenance capabilities to support the Opportunity-to-Contract journey.
* Maintain an up-to-date repository of customer contracts and addenda.
* Develop tools and processes to deliver high-quality and timely quotations.
* Focus on value creation, growth, and customer service across enterprise products.
Vision, Planning & Backlog Management
* Develop and communicate a clear vision aligned with tribe leads and fellow Product Owners.
* Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within available resource constraints.
* Maximize product and service value through efficient development and implementation.
* Ensure expected quality standards are met according to acceptance criteria.
* Identify and manage risks and compliance issues.
* Define squad goals and priorities, and manage the product backlog through user stories.
* Facilitate squad meetings to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
* Collaborate with other squads and tribes to eliminate silos and support cross-functional initiatives.
Leadership & Team Dynamics
* Work closely with the chapter lead, agile coach, and scrum master to assess performance.
* Foster a trust-based environment that encourages experimentation, learning, and motivation.
* Identify the required expertise and product/domain knowledge to build a high-performing squad.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
* Engage in discussions with multiple stakeholders across departments.
* Proactively identify risks and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
* Participate in meetings with production support managers to ensure incident resolution.
* Improve customer adoption rates and satisfaction levels.
Not Allowed
* Micromanaging or giving direct orders to the squad.
* Making arbitrary commitments on behalf of the squad(s).
* Acting as a hierarchical team manager.

* Familiarity with the SAFe framework, including PI planning and commitment tracking.
* Experience with cloud-based COTS products.

* Skilled in roadmap development, product vision, and prioritization techniques.
* Collaboration with architects and designers.
* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch and /or French is recommended.
