EMEA Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a global FMCG organisation to appoint a Global HR Business Partner, based in Madrid, to join its expanding team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Global HR Business Partner (1 year contract) will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, supporting the delivery of local and global HR initiatives. The role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities, partnering closely with global senior stakeholders to drive organizational effectiveness and deliver an exceptional employee experience.
This position plays a key role in ensuring HR operations and processes are delivered effectively and in line with company standards. as well as supporting organizational design, talent management, HR transformation, and employee lifecycle activities.
Key responsibilities of the Global HR Business Partner (1 year contract):
* Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for Group employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and local employment practices
* Partner with the Global HR team and business leaders to support strategic people initiatives, organizational design, workforce planning, and HR transformation activities across multiple location
* Support global HR system implementations, process improvements, and change management initiatives, driving operational excellence across the HR function
* Oversee workplace and facilities management for the Madrid office
Key Experience Required:
* Strong understanding of Spanish employment practices, combined with experience supporting international employee populations
* Significant HR experience gained within an international, matrixed environment, with strong exposure to HR business partnering, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations
* Experience supporting organizational design, HR transformation initiatives, and HR systems implementations within global organisations
* Highly organised with excellent communication and influencing skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive, hands-on approach
