Your key responsibilities: Lead the global Beverage Ingredient Solutions application team across Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Belgium, building a high-performing team with a strong focus on continuous development. Act as the first technical point of contact for application within the Ingredient Solutions Beverages business (strategy, business development, innovation), driving application activities that support new developments, value propositions, and the implementation of new and existing products and concepts. Actively foster collaboration with application colleagues in Taste, Technical Sales Managers, and nutrition premix formulators to develop joint concepts, leverage shared expertise, and coordinate activities effectively. Support sales by providing expert technical advice and participating in customer interactions where deeper application expertise is required. Ensure the QESH performance of the team by steering behaviour, promoting safe working practices, and embedding QESH requirements in work plans and day-to-day execution in line with dsm-firmenich guidelines. Continuously ensure the team's capabilities remain future-ready, keeping pace with emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities in digitization. You bring: A Master's degree in food or beverage science/technology and 10 years of industry experience turning ingredient technologies into commercial beverage applications. A strong track record in developing market-ready formulations across categories (soft drinks, sports drinks, juices, beer) using functional ingredients. Solid experience working with customers and commercial teams to translate technologies into clear value propositions and application concepts. Good understanding of processing, stability, scale-up, and industrial manufacturing requirements for beverages. Experience shaping innovation pipelines by combining market insights, consumer trends, and technical feasibility. Proven ability to lead and coordinate application teams across multiple sites, ensuring consistent quality and delivery.
