We are looking for a
proactive, hands-on Project Manager
to strengthen our client's Transformation Team. You will support the execution of a
high-impact fiber network project (FTTH)
, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
This role requires someone who can
act immediately
, make fast and well-structured decisions, and bring clarity to a complex environment with limited data ("black book" situation).
Role & Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the Transformation Team (including process & data analysts).
* Oversee daily follow-up, governance, risk tracking, and escalation of new topics.
* Manage scope, roadmap, planning, deliverables, and operational execution.
* Act as a bridge between business, operations, commercial, and technology teams.
* Facilitate daily
war room
sessions to track progress and resolve blockers.
* Maintain and update playbooks and process documentation.
* Communicate effectively with local governments, external providers, and internal stakeholders.
* Perform close crisis monitoring and support crisis management activities.
* Deliver clear, concise daily progress summaries—both written and verbal.
* Escalate issues and decisions to senior management when required.µ
Must-Have Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
* Strong, hands-on project leadership with high ownership.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (including local authorities & external partners).
* Ability to adapt quickly and operate effectively in a fast-changing context.
* Experience with governance, follow-up, and decision escalation.
* Fluent in English and Dutch.
* Stress-resistant and decisive, able to handle projects with limited or imperfect data.
* Strong ability to produce clear and concise summaries and presentations.
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience in telecom (HFC/FTTH) is a major plus.
* Change management expertise.
* French language skills.
* Background in utilities or
public service companies
— highly valuable.
* Experience working in crisis-driven or high-urgency project environments.
