As a Team Lead within our Data Platform And Cloud Unit, you will merge your (part-time) consultancy delivery activities with the dynamic role of team management for your assigned group. The Skills
In addition to having significant experience in data platform & cloud engineering consulting, we are looking for a colleague who can take on additional responsibilities. As a Data Platform And Cloud Engineering Team Lead, we expect a strong ambition and the ability to showcase a supplementary skill set, the significance of which may vary depending on the nature of the team.
Data Platform And Cloud Engineering skills
Leadership in data engineering and cloud architecture.
Proficiency in building ELT data pipelines using tools like Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Spark, dbt, or related tooling.
Mastery of software engineering skills including Git, Python, and SQL.
Expertise in cloud engineering with tooling like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, … for robust and scalable cloud infrastructure.
Understanding of at least one data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure data services, or AWS data services.
Team Lead skills
Consulting experience combined with team management skills.
Ability to coordinate projects and ensure team performance.
Focus on team engagement, well-being, and skill-building.
Experience in client relationship building and business development.
Documentation and asset building for knowledge sharing and domain-specific development.
