Description
You will be a key member of the team responsible for developing and designing Amazon's air cargo network in Brazil. This position plays a vital role in creating new air transportation solutions that focus on shorter transit times, cost-effectiveness, and delivering the best possible speed for our customers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to international stakeholders and acquire unique insights into the e-commerce logistics industry. You will be instrumental in developing innovative air cargo solutions that support Amazon's continued growth and expansion in the Brazilian market.
Key job responsibilities
As a key member of the Amazon Air Cargo Network Development team in Brazil, you will shape the future of our logistics operations. You will build and maintain strong relationships with air carrier partners, ensuring their performance meets high standards. Your focus will be on tracking and analyzing critical metrics such as on-time delivery, capacity utilization, and shipment quality. When areas for improvement are identified, you will collaborate with carriers to develop and implement actionable plans. Capacity planning and forecasting will also be a crucial aspect of your role; you will work closely with cross-functional teams to project future volume demands and secure the necessary air transportation capacity to meet service level agreements. Network optimization will be a continuous focus, evaluating carrier performance, routes, and service levels to identify opportunities for improvement. Your recommendations for changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs will drive the success of our air cargo operations.
