This role will report directly to the Chief Sustainability and Security Officer, in charge of Corporate Communications, and will lead a team of communication professionals in delivering impactful messaging across multiple channels.
Job Description
The Director of Corporate Communications oversees and manages Radisson Hotel Group’s corporate external communications. This pivotal role ensures the alignment of communication strategies with the overall business objectives, grows the Radisson Hotel Group corporate brand and reputation, and fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Director of Corporate Communications collaborates with various departments and executives to create a unified voice for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
* Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
* Lead the planning and execution of communication plans for major corporate initiatives, as defined in the corporate message house and the company’s 5 year plan.
* Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make necessary adjustments.
Public Relations
* Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, managing media relations and public inquiries.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers in key markets related to corporate operations.
* Prepare and disseminate press releases, media kits, and other public-facing documents.
* Oversee crisis communication to protect the company's reputation and manage communications during incidents.
Content Creation
* Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and print materials.
* Ensure all content is consistent with the company's brand voice and messaging.
* Develop internal communication tools for corporate communication, as well as maintaining spokesperson matrices
Leadership.
Collaboration
* Lead and mentor a global team of communication professionals.
* Collaborate with marketing, HR, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging.
* Provide communication support for executive leadership.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
* At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
* Proven experience in a leadership role with a strong ability to manage a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English plus one of the core corporate languages is a plus (Dutch, French, Swedish).
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
