This is what your job will look like
As a robotic engineer, you will be part of our driven engineering team, where you will work together to develop high-quality software solutions. Your tasks will include:
* Develop, maintain, and improve robotic software using ROS2
* Integrate and optimize navigation stacks, SLAM, and sensor fusion
* Build perception systems using Computer Vision (e.g., object detection, visual localization)
* Design and deploy Machine Learning models for robotic perception and autonomous decision-making
* Work hands-on with real robots: system integration, deployment, tuning, and performance optimization
* Contribute to robot control, localization, and path planning
* Participate in on-site testing and customer deployments across Belgium and the Netherlands
That's why this job suits you:
* You are hands-on and have at least 3 to 5 years of experience and strong affinity with autonomous navigation, robotics, machine control or industrial automation
* You have a thorough knowledge of ROS2, C, C++, and Python
* Solid knowledge in majority of the following fields:
* Sensor fusion for state estimation and localization
* Control systems for robotics
* Path planning & Navigation (SLAM)
* Computer Vision and Machine Learning applied to robotics
* You are comfortable working with hardware and in real-world field environments and experience bringing systems from prototype to reliable field deployment
* You are able to work independently and take responsibility for your work
* You have a valid EU driving license (for site testing and deployments)
* You can communicate fluently in English
