Yonderland has a central IT team supporting three business units in multiple countries, headquartered in Hoboken (Antwerp).
As Head of Data & AI, you will define and lead the data and AI strategy across our international retail group, comprising three independent business units and over 180 stores in six European countries. You'll shape the organization's AI vision, turn data into a competitive advantage, and ensure AI drives tangible value across all business areas, from commercial and digital to operations and supply chain.
Key responsabilities
AI Strategy & Delivery
* Define and implement the group-wide AI strategy with clear vision, priorities, and ROI-driven roadmaps.
* Identify and scale high-impact AI use cases across revenue, customer experience, supply chain, and cost optimization.
* Lead AI governance and compliance (GDPR, NIS2) and promote responsible, ethical AI practices.
* Build internal AI capabilities and literacy, including Centers of excellence and external partnerships.
* Track and communicate AI impact and business outcomes to executive stakeholders.
Data Strategy & Infrastructure
* Develop and execute a group data strategy supporting commercial and operational goals.
* Oversee modern, cloud-based data infrastructure enabling secure, scalable analytics and AI.
* Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure data security, standardization, and performance.
Analytics & Insights
* Deliver predictive analytics and actionable insights aligned with business KPIs.
* Establish analytics standards, single sources of truth, and performance metrics.
* Advance data science capabilities such as predictive modeling and dynamic pricing.
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Partner with business unit leaders to align AI and data priorities with strategic objectives.
* Drive cross-unit collaboration and data sharing for group-wide value creation.
* Work with commercial and operations teams to deploy AI solutions that enhance efficiency and customer value.
People & Culture
* Build and lead a high-performing Data & AI team, fostering innovation and accountability.
* Promote a data-driven culture and continuous learning across the organization.
Governance & Financial Management
* Implement robust data governance, privacy, and security frameworks across all units.
* Manage budgets, vendors, and ROI for AI and data initiatives, ensuring measurable business impact.

* 10+ years of senior experience in data, analytics, or AI leadership, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
* Proven success in leading enterprise-wide AI or data transformation programs with measurable impact.
* Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI/ML technologies.
* Familiarity with ethical AI, governance frameworks, and European data regulations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at executive and board level.
