People Services Team Lead Role

\

We are seeking an experienced People Services Team Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of people services advisors and providing operational support to the business.

\

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and experience leading teams in high-volume, transactional environments. They should also have broad knowledge of employment legislation and regulation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\

Responsibilities of the role include:

\
\
1. Coordinating people services operational tasks associated with global mobility, wellbeing, performance management, and employee engagement.
\
2. Providing proactive advice to the business on people-related issues, including compliance with Arcadis policy and relevant employment legislation.
\
3. Leading the development and maintenance of people policies and processes.
\
4. Managing requests through the HR help desk, ensuring that progress is tracked and appropriate resolutions are provided to employees and line managers.
\
5. Referring or escalating requests to business partners or global centres of excellence, as appropriate.
\
6. Facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes.
\
7. Supporting the cyclical and operational needs of the business, including recruitment and promotions.
\
8. Identifying improvements needed in people processes to drive positive employee experience.
\
9. Liaising with internal service providers and stakeholders to ensure seamless operational delivery.
\
10. Delivering proactive, timely, and high-quality service to the business.
\
11. Working collaboratively within the people operating model to support the wider business.
\
12. Playing a key role in the local people services network and contributing to group-wide people projects.
\
13. Modeling the Arcadis way and ensuring familiarity and compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
\
14. Providing advisory services in support of strategic people programs, incorporating cultural pillars such as sustainability, inclusion, accountability, and human centricity.
\
15. Establishing trusted relationships with employees and line managers.
\
16. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to co-create, develop, and support people solutions.
\
17. Coaching, supporting, and building capability within the people advisor team.
\
18. Developing and maintaining people policies and processes.
\
19. Managing requests through the HR help desk and ensuring compliance with Arcadis policy and employment legislation.
\
20. Referring or escalating requests to business partners or global centres of excellence.
\
21. Driving employee engagement and implementing actions to improve the employee experience.
\
22. Facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes.
\
23. Supporting the cyclical and operational needs of the business.
\
