As a Functional Analyst in our IT Security team within Colruyt Group, you’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Our team covers a broad range of security domains — including, but not limited to, vulnerability management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), cryptography, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), NIS2, and OT/IoT security. You’ll contribute to projects across these areas, collaborating with stakeholders, security architects, and engineers to analyse requirements, design secure solutions, and support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity initiatives within Colruyt Group.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business units to gather, analyse, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
Support IT integration by defining interface specifications and documenting requirements using standard methodologies such as BPMN and data modelling
Design, implement, and maintain business processes using BPMN to ensure alignment with business and security objectives
Design ServiceNow requests to facilitate and support business processes
Conduct impact assessments, including AS-IS vs. TO-BE analysis and solution design
Define and document test scenarios; perform functional testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Deliver clear and structured documentation to engineering teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical deliverables
Prepare user documentation, deliver end-user training, and support change management initiatives
Looking ahead, the role may evolve to include configuration and management of cloud platforms, such as security components within Microsoft Azure
Profile
A degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Engineering, Business) or at least 3 years of professional experience as a Functional and/or Business Analyst, or in a similar role
Analytical skills – You maintain a clear overview and focus on the bigger picture without losing sight of the details
Technical affinity – You’re comfortable working in IT environments and have a keen interest in understanding technical concepts
Communication – You empathize with your customer, listen attentively, and ask the right questions to uncover core needs
Team player – You collaborate effectively with colleagues across different levels of the organization
Language skills – Fluent in English for global collaboration; Dutch is a valuable asset for local interaction
This role can be performed from our offices in Halle (headquarters), Haasrode, or Zwijnaarde. If you are not based in Halle, we ask that you work from our headquarters at least one day per week. Remote work is possible up to three days per week, regardless of your location, but depending on the phase of your project.
