Reporting to: Sales Manager Industry
For our client, a company specialized in the electrical industry, we are looking for an External Sales Advisor – Industry.
In this role, you will serve as the key link between their technical solutions and major industrial clients in the Antwerp region. You will be responsible for managing existing large accounts as well as developing new business opportunities.
You will operate in a complex and fast-paced environment that demands both strong technical knowledge and excellent commercial skills. The client portfolio includes leading companies in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, and engineering. Due to the current understaffing of the sales team, you will be expected to work independently and take full ownership of your region.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of large industrial clients in the Brussels region.
* Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical and service-based solutions.
* Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
* Follow up on offers and manage ongoing projects from start to finish.
* Work closely with internal sales support and technical specialists.
* Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system.
* Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving commercial targets.
* Promote and participate in client events, trainings, and commercial actions.`
Candidate Profile
* min 2 years of experience in external B2B sales, ideally in the industrial or technical sector.
* Solid technical background, preferably in electricity or electromechanics.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients/projects.
* Commercially driven, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
* Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French.
