Job Description - Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs a Test Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the various applications Conto, C2C, Lock-it, Feel, My meter readings, My appointments, C2C Plan, etc. from the Data Management domain and more specifically within ICT Applications Market Forces Melle.We are looking for a test specialist/coordinator for various ICT applications for our team.You have an important role to play as a tester and test coordinator for the MNT and KIR releases and the specific projects we work on from our team. Projects including Jboss, API portal, Fundi, MMR Gas, etcYou are excellent in making a test plan and you know how to deliver test designs like no other. You are happy to share your knowledge with the team and help them where necessary. You are responsible for drawing up test scenarios and test cases and carry them all out yourself for the different applications (different technology).You also have experience in guiding the GO/NO GO decisions, where you then offer a clear insight into the test results to our customer based on the necessary reports.You hate performing the same manual tests over and over again, so you naturally think about how the tests can be automated (via Selenium) from the start of development. Thanks to your experience in test automation, you can quickly add value to the customer.Learning new technology platforms does not scare you and you will master them immediately because of your technical skills.
Skills – Must HaveDemonstrable experience as a Test CoordinatorDemonstrated experience with formal testing methods and techniquesDemonstrable experience in writing test automationDemonstrable experience with scripting within Selenium SoftwareDemonstrable experience with Java code as a tester (in function of test automation)Proven experience with Jira and Zephyr (building the necessary test reports / test scenarios)Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the Market Forces processes MIG6Candidate has the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing – Must add to proposalCandidate has the Java Certified Associate Certificate – Must add to proposal
