For one of our partners, a leading pharma company, we are looking for a Breast Care Nurse (or similar experience) for a role as a Medical Education Associate Breast Cancer.
This role is primarily focused on interaction with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) (physicians and nurses) within the field of breast cancer.
It requires part-time in field work at specialised breast clinics and part-time office or home work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
External focus:
* Organizing, presenting, and evaluating educational meetings with HCPs to improve the management of breast cancer patients and promote the proper use of an oral anti-cancer treatment.
* Providing educational training to oncology nurses.
* Coordinating and participating in workshops.
* Following up on questions from oncology nurses regarding the management of treatment side effects.
* Participating in independent scientific meetings for oncology nurses.
* Assessing patient management needs.
Internal collaboration:
* Evaluating educational materials.
* Collaborating with the medical and marketing teams to develop materials for patient management and proper medication use.
* Collaborating with Oncology Medical Representatives.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (e.g., Nursing, Psychology, or other).
* Experience in managing breast cancer patients in a hospital setting OR
prior experience in Medical Education / Oncology Patient Engagement.
* Ability to work independently and driven by results.
* Excellent listening skills and a service-oriented mindset.
* A true team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Fluent in Dutch and/or French and good understanding of English
* Good practical knowledge of MS Office.
