About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agile Test and Quality Manager to lead the evolution of quality assurance and testing practices within a dynamic IT organization. In this key role, you will drive a culture of quality, promote a Shift-Left approach, and scale AI-driven test automation across agile and hybrid delivery environments.
You will be part of a forward-thinking Agile PMO, collaborating closely with Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Product Owners to ensure robust, efficient, and high-quality software delivery. This is a unique opportunity to shape testing maturity and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT delivery in a customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Quality Strategy & Governance: Define and implement quality management standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
* Shift-Left & Automation: Promote early testing integration and lead the adoption of AI-powered test automation tools and practices.
* Coaching & Capability Building: Mentor test analysts and project teams, and develop training programs to uplift testing maturity.
* Project & Agile Delivery Support: Provide expert guidance on test planning, execution, and defect management within Agile and hybrid projects.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitor quality metrics, identify improvement areas, and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Your Profile
* Proven experience in quality assurance, testing management, and test automation in complex IT environments.
* Strong knowledge of Shift-Left testing principles, DevOps/CI-CD practices, and AI-driven testing tools.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and modern software delivery practices.
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced, Agile Testing) are a strong advantage.
* Experience with cloud-based testing, performance testing, and the Mabl tool is highly desirable.
* Background in change management or the utilities sector is a plus.
* Customer-oriented, results-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
