MISSION
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and acting as a key member of the Management Team, you will ensure that all commercial activities are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. You will drive growth by developing the existing strong client portfolio while expanding our market presence across Belgium.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
* Deliver the annual budget of €8 million in close collaboration with internal departments.
* Develop and implement national sales strategies, create sales plans, and set achievable targets for the sales team.
* Recruit, train, and mentor a nationwide sales team of 5 people, ensuring full alignment with company goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients, identify new business opportunities, and explore new markets.
* Monitor sales metrics, analyse performance, implement timely corrective actions, and produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
* Work collaboratively with the Management Team to support business growth, ensuring clear communication between departments and effectively conveying the Group’s strategy and business plan.
PROFILE
* Proven experience in team management and leadership
* Solid background in technical sales (experience in the weighing sector is an advantage, but not essential)
* Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting
* Excellent analytical skills with experience in sales metrics and forecasting
* Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
* Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
* Proficiency in Dutch and English required (French is an advantage)
