DESCRIPTION: As an Engineer I in Product Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to advancing our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll contribute to developing and improving upstream processes. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and innovation, provide technical documentation and support, and ensure compliance with quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or Bioengineering • Initial experience in cell culture process development within a GLP/GMP environment • Required experience level : 1 year of proven experience • Proficiency in cell culture techniques such as vial thawing, passages performing, culture parameters monitoring • Experience with bioreactors is an asset • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and ability to work in BSL2 environment • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent documentation and technical writing abilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SAP) • Experience with laboratory information systems and quality documentation preferred • Strong organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively • Flexibility and professional mindset in a deadline and customers-oriented environment • Proficiency in scientific English required
