Our LGT Fund Administrators (Luxembourg) S.à r.l. (the “Company”) provides fund administration services to mainly private equity funds. The administration group has over EUR 41 billion in assets under administration. The Company has established an office in Luxembourg and is looking for a motivated Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for Funds to join a dedicated team of 12 specialists, focusing on providing a quality service to our German and international client base. Become a part of our small RC for Funds team that services around 120 Luxembourg entities in total and take over Fund RC mandates within that team. All Funds that are serviced by the team are Group-internal Funds with a high level of synergies (same service providers, etc.). All entities are Fund of Funds, the majority having a focus on Private Equity and a minority having focus on Private Debt and Real Estate.
In your role as a Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for Funds you will assume a varied book of work that includes the following responsibilities:
Prepare regular reports to Fund Boards, attend fund Board meetings and present RC reports as the appointed RC of the Funds
Perform regular sample testings of Fund’s AML Framework (Service provider performing KYC on Assets or Investors), discuss with key stakeholders and report results to the Board;
Prepare and perform regulatory required filings and act as contact person for CSSF/AED on behalf of the Funds;
Ensure that relevant statutory authorities (esp. FIU) are informed of suspicious activities on a timely basis;
Act as key escalation point for any AML/CFT matters and update the RR & Boards on changes in AML/ CFT regulations;
Act as an advisor for Fund Boards, senior management and group-internal staff on AML/CTF related matters (AML on assets, Investor Onboarding Teams, etc.);
Support the Compliance & RC function of the Company (specialized PFS & support PFS).
This position involves periodic business travel to Group affiliates located in Dublin, London, Paris, and Pfäffikon.
Requirements
University degree in business or law;
At least 5 years of professional working experience with AML/CFT and within the Luxembourg Fund industry;
Eligibility for approval from the CSSF to act as Responsable du contrôle of Funds. Previous experience as an RC is an advantage;
Demonstrated knowledge of Luxembourg AML and other applicable regulatory requirements;
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and advanced functions. Programming skills such as VBA are a plus;
Excellent command of English is required. Knowledge of German is highly desirable;
Ability to perform efficiently and precisely under pressure with minimal supervision;
Excellent communicator with analytical ability, attention to detail, and a critical mindset.
