As a Project Lead HVAC at Camfil, you will be responsible for the complete management of the construction site during the project execution. You will be at the heart of our projects, from planning to completion. You won´t just manage from behind a desk; you will be present on site, actively participate in the execution; ensuring every detail meets our high standards.
You will lead and motivate the project team and subcontractors, and, together with the sales team, act as the contact person for all technical questions. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of required materials and reporting any technical issues that may arise.
This role can be based anywhere in Belgium, being located in central Belgium would facilitate travel to different project sites and our office (Zaventem).
You will:
* Take full ownership of project coordination from A to Z
* Lead, motivate and support the project team and subcontractors directly on site
* Be the go-to technical contact for clients, working closely with the sales team to find the best solutions
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with our quality standards
* Oversee the predefined budget and project profitability.
* Anticipate needs, ensure materials are delivered on time, and proactively resolve any technical challenges that arise
* Be always present at our sites, coordinating, troubleshooting, and keeping the project moving forward
* Actively participate in carrying out the required site work
What we expect from you:
You are not just a planner, you are someone who enjoys getting things done, being on site and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
We expect you to bring:
* A technical background (electro-mechanical profile or equivalent through experience)
* Experience in the HVAC sector is a strong plus, but not a strict requirement. What matters most is your technical understanding and willingness to learn
* Project management or site management experience
* A hands-on, proactive attitude, leading by example
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* A results-driven mindset: you take ownership and make sure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
* Excellent skills in Dutch and French and a good command of English
* Ability to balance people management with practical technical insight
* Good housekeeping and work ethics
