Your mission

This position is made for you
As an Oracle Specialist, you will contribute to the modernization of a large-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) used to manage real-time factory operations.
The current system, developed with Oracle Forms over 30 years ago, is being assessed for migration to Oracle APEX, a low-code web platform for modern application development.
Build side:
* Analyze the current Oracle Forms–based MES architecture, data model, and integrations.
* Identify key functionalities and dependencies across the system.
* Evaluate the feasibility, risks, and resource needs of migrating to Oracle APEX.
* Recommend modernization strategies and potential alternative technologies.
* Deliver a detailed roadmap and estimation for the migration phase.
Run side:
* Lead or support the migration and redevelopment of modules in Oracle APEX.
* Rebuild forms, reports, and dashboards with an improved user experience.
* Ensure PL/SQL logic, data structures, and interfaces are integrated and validated.
* Guarantee reliability, performance, and data integrity in the new environment.
* Support testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Your background
You have several years of experience working in Oracle environments and are motivated by large-scale modernization projects. You enjoy understanding complex legacy systems and transforming them into efficient, sustainable solutions.
Your expertise
* Excellent command of Oracle Forms and Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL).
* Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development and deployment.
* Proven experience in application migration or modernization projects.
* Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and industrial IT.
* Strong analytical and documentation skills.
* Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
Nice to have:
* Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
* Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud solutions.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and testing frameworks.
