Medical Advisor Oncology - Freelance or Contractor - 6 months - Belgium
The Mission
As a strategic scientific partner within the medical landscape, you will support the medical strategy to optimize the clinical impact of the oncology portfolio and oncoming launches. You will function as a high-level scientific peer, engaging with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) to align clinical evidence with long-term healthcare objectives. You are the bridge between complex clinical data and real-world medical practice, serving as a credible, expert resource for the oncology community.
Key Performance Areas
* Scientific Exchange: Execute both proactive and reactive scientific dialogues with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key stakeholders.
* Strategic Insights: Synthesize field intelligence and clinical feedback to refine medical strategies and support internal decision making.
* Relationship Management: Support and cultivate a robust network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
* Knowledge Leadership: Maintain a high level of therapeutic knowledge and translate this into high-quality educational content, slide decks etc.
* Educational Events: Lead the organization and scientific content of Advisory Boards, symposia, and medical roundtables.
* Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the medical point of contact for Market Access and Commercial teams, ensuring all field activities are grounded in scientific integrity.
Who You Are
* Preferably a degree in Health Sciences
* A minimum of 2 years within the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs (MSL, Medical Advisor)
* Experience in oncology is preferred.
* Bilingual Dutch / French, with strong professional English.
* A natural 'educator' with the ability to present complex data with clarity and impact.
