Job Description
This role plays a pivotal part in our company's success by efficiently issuing insurance policies to European clients and brokers. The position also involves providing administrative support to local underwriting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create new and renewal insurance policies within our technical policy system, adhering to underwriting instructions.
* Analyse technical data and calculate transactions including limits, premiums, and deductions.
* Manage policy documentation and correspondence on our e-filing platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Take calls, attend meetings with brokers, and engage in professional email correspondence as required.
* Participate in internal training and team meetings to enhance knowledge and processes.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Professional experience as a policy technician or administrator, with a strong understanding of policy coverage and calculations.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate policy details to clients and brokers.
* The ability to work independently and collaborate with team members, demonstrating diligence and a service-minded attitude.
* Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document completion and layout, as well as Excel for data analysis and presentation.
