Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Maintenance Technician based in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, you will ensure the smooth operation and longevity of our machinery and facilities through both preventive and corrective maintenance. Your primary goal is to minimize production disruptions and maintain a safe working environment. You will work closely with a dedicated team under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor. The team operates on a full-time, permanent basis, with shifts to ensure continuous support. We will support your growth with regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Purpose of the role
1. Avoiding disruptions in the production process through preventive and curative maintenance of the machinery.
2. Keep machinery in good condition to avoid shortening the lifespan of the machine and to eliminate the risk of unsafe working conditions.
3. Monitoring the condition of buildings, utilities and facilities to prevent deterioration and defects in such a way that the safety of employees and visitors is safeguarded.

5. Carrying out preventive maintenance on the machine park based on a maintenance plan
6. Report preventive maintenance activities as prescribed
7. Drawing up preventive maintenance plans
8. Corrective maintenance machinery
9. Detecting the cause of inefficiencies, errors, malfunctions and defects based on diagrams, drawings and/or manuals
10. Carrying out repairs, replacing (spare) parts if necessary
11. If necessary, manufacture the part yourself in anticipation of delivery of ordered parts
12. Follow-up of the installation after repair
13. Adjusting diagrams, drawings and/or manuals after repairs if applicable
14. Report corrective maintenance activities
15. Corrective maintenance utilities
16. Detecting the cause of inefficiencies, errors, malfunctions and defects based on diagrams, drawings and/or manuals on compressed air, high voltage, heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, water, cabling ICT, security installations, security installations, emergency installations
17. Follow-up of the installation after repair
18. Adjustment of schematics, drawings and/or manuals after the repair of the utilities if applicable
19. Report corrective maintenance work

Qualifications
35. Graduate or Bachelor in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Automation or related fields or equivalent experience.
36. Minimum 2 years of relevant and practical experience
37. Read drawings
38. Programming of PLCs and operator panels (Omron, Siemens, Beckhoff) is an asset
39. Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
40. Fluent in Dutch, oral and written, fluent in English, oral
