Create compelling visualizations that enable stakeholders to understand key insights, trends, and patterns. Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists to develop strategic dashboards, reports, and visual presentations driving decision‑making and initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain strategic and interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Grafana.
* Create clear, insightful, and aesthetically pleasing visual representations of complex datasets.
* Work closely with business users, data scientists, and analysts to understand requirements and translate into visualizations.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
* Be the trusted partner for internal customers, understanding their needs and translating into impactful BI/RT solutions.
* Analyze business requirements and transform into actionable points for the Data & Analytics team.
* Analyze data to identify key insights, trends, and patterns that can be communicated visually.
* Assist in exploratory data analysis by producing visualizations that provide immediate clarity.
* Develop and promote best practices for visualizations, ensuring consistency across the organization.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s or relevant certificates considered a strong asset.
* 3–5 years of experience in data visualization, BI or related fields.
* Proficient in Power BI, Grafana, or similar tools and solid understanding of SQL. Familiar with data preparation and ETL, and able to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
* Strong UX/UI principles for data visualization: color theory, typography, and design best practices.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Fluent in Dutch and English.
