Senior Wealth Planner | French Market
The mission
Wealth Structuring Team as support to the business development is a key component of the strategic development of OneLife under the responsibility of the Wealth Structuring & Product Solution department. OneLife has created an exciting position as a Senior Wealth Planner for France. Reporting to the Department head Wealth Structuring & Product Solution, the candidate will support the development and distribution of their wealth structuring solutions using life insurance for France.
Main requirements
As Senior Wealth Planner, based in Luxembourg, the candidate will support the sales team into the business development and maintenance of the wealth structuring solutions using life insurance in a cross border context.
The main responsibilities are the following:
* Ensure the compliance, consistency, high quality and pragmatism of the solutions and responses provided to the internal and external clients in terms of Wealth Structuring
* Provides wealth structuring support for products and residents of the select market of expertise ("market"): France and cross-border business
* Provides wealth structuring support for products and residents of other markets by hiring local expertise (if not available internally) and driving or supervising the internal design
* Assures market and industry watch for defined core markets and main areas of expertise
* Provides cross border support for French residents moving to/from other countries
* Contributes business and market intelligence to further product development, product updates and product signoff for the market
* Draft and reviews information documentation, newsletters, ad-hoc information with regards to the market
* Drafts wealth structuring proposals for internal and external clients, including brokers and sales staff
* Contributes to trainings, education, information of staff and external clients
* Acts as facilitator between sales/marketing, CS, PMD, external clients and T&L
Profile of our future teammate
* Master Degree preferably in law, specialization in civil and tax law (matrimonial regime, succession planning, direct and gift/inheritance tax, etc.), experience in international taxation and knowledge in company law.
* At least 8 years’ experience at a leading private bank, life insurance company, tax advisory or law firm delivering wealth structuring, tax and legal advice, covering French market.
* Contract drafting skills
* Rigorous and detailed minded
* Capable of presenting complex issue in a simple way
* Flexible and eager to learn
* Capable of working independently as well as within a team
* Problem solver & solution oriented
* Knowledge of Luxembourg life insurance in a cross-border context is an asset
* French mother tongue, fluent in English
