Role Description
This freelance position involves applying dss+ SIF prevention methodologies to address client SIF issues, enhance SIF performance, and establish sustainable prevention processes.
As a French-speaking SIF Prevention expert, you will:
* Engage with executives, management, safety professionals, supervisors, and workers
* Identify and develop client interests in SIF Prevention
* Implement risk control processes
* Collaborate with clients throughout project stages
* Achieve sustained SIF performance improvements
* Work with other SIF professionals to develop organizational capabilities and materials
You will support various projects as a freelance specialist, working full or part-time with DSS+ and other clients.
Required experience for a French-speaking SIF expert includes:
* At least 5 years managing SIF Prevention programs in industry or consulting
* At least 10 years in safety roles
* Practical experience with safety processes like Life-Saving Rules, root cause analysis, hierarchy of controls, and safety metrics
* Understanding of SIF concepts and data analytics
* Ability to influence client organizations towards SIF mitigation
* Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, risk management, or related fields
* Safety & Health certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are a plus
* Project management skills
This freelance role requires travel across Europe, with up to 80% of the time spent away from home.
