QA/QC Lead – Mechanical & Welding
Belgium Location, Hyperscale Data Centre Project
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to support the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead QA/QC activities for all mechanical and welding scopes including CHW/CW systems, HVAC pipework, and mechanical equipment.
* Develop and implement Quality Plans, ITPs, and inspection regimes in line with project specs and client requirements.
* Review and approve WPS/PQR/WPQ, material certificates, and weld traceability records.
* Oversee welding inspections, NDT coordination, pressure testing, flushing, and pre‐commissioning activities.
* Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and quality close‐out.
* Interface with construction, commissioning, subcontractors, and client QA teams.
* Ensure full quality documentation and handover readiness for client acceptance.
Requirements
* Mechanical Engineering qualification.
* CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or equivalent.
* Strong experience in hyperscale or mission‐critical data centre construction.
* Solid knowledge of EN / ISO / ASME standards and PED.
* Fluent English & French
