Job Description
The BBN system architecture team defines end‑to‑end architecture solutions from hardware, OLTs and controllers. The team reviews and proposes solutions for critical issues and features, defines architecture for cost saving, energy optimization, autonomous networks, and aligns architecture with the company vision. This role focuses on optical LAN.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Defining the E2E architecture solution for optical LAN requirements
Ownership of complex component SW architecture.
Ownership of test strategy for own Tribe items.
Defining and reviewing the HW/SW Architecture Squads deliverables.
Coaching and training HW/SW Architecture squads individual contributors.
Key Skills and Experience
Experience in access technologies, fiber: GPON/XPON, Layer 2 and Layer 3 services and protocols.
Experience with network management solutions and protocols like Netconf/YANG, IPFIX, GNMI.
Experience defining end‑to‑end architecture for products and software solutions.
Cloud expertise – virtualization and cloud certifications.
Understanding of micro‑service based and cloud‑native architecture principles, practical experience with micro‑service architectures and deployment in public cloud environments.
