Overview

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join the consumer-focused unit within our Fine Art, Museums & Exhibitions team in Antwerp, Belgium. Are you a focused, dedicated and motivated professional? The role will be concentrating on servicing an existing book of European high net worth and Fine Art business as well as supporting the team in winning and onboarding new clients who are associated with our fine art and museums books of business. You will need to provide a quality service and focus on obtaining optimum account retention as well as providing support to your team in Belgium and the Fine Art team in the UK, who in turn will support you. How you'll make an impact Balance day-to-day client contacts with providing a robust administrative support; Obtain renewal terms for customers and research suitable alternatives to produce presentations and assist in preparing RFP responses; Coordinate all renewal quotes for existing customers along with any mid-term adjustments to be considered; Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion; Manage insurer queries in relation to customer policies and build relationships with those underwriters; Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required; Secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers and check prior to approval and release by relevant account managers; Deal with account queries and credit control matters highlighting any concerns to account managers in a timely manner; Grasp and apply fundamental legal and regulatory policy for internal policies and the insurance contract as required; Work with the technical operations function to ensure good credit control is maintained and bad debt is managed and kept to a minimum; Act as a conduit between the clients and internal service providers throughout the cover period to ensure that accounts, risk documentation and claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner. About you Up to two years prior experience of working in insurance (desired) Basic knowledge of general insurance products and services is essential. Insurance administration experience gained within a commercial setting is desirable Ability to speak French and English to a high standard (conversational and business level) Experience of having worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLA’s Proven rapport-building experience and dedicated customer service focus, able to spot potential risks and seek advice when required Confident communication and interpersonal skills, strong planning and analytical skills High accuracy and attention to detail, comfortable taking initiative when assisting team members. Ability to manage own workload and communicate with matrix management Proficient in MS office Eligible to work within the EU (either through nationality or Visa) and travel to the UK, as the role requires.
