Pierre Fabre Oncology Benelux (PFOB) is committed to change the lives of oncology patients in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg. PFOB is looking for a field based Medical Science Liaison Oncology for Wallonia, Brussels and Luxembourg reporting to the Medical Director Benelux. Will you become our new ambassador and will provide the necessary medical and scientific input with passion?
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain medical networks among Healthcare Providers (HCPs)
Develop a deep knowledge of the therapeutic areas
Identify topics of interests among HCPs and organize medical educational meetings
Organize advisory board meetings
Oversee clinical studies and early access programs
Collaborate with the Medical Affairs team on the development of the Medical Plan
Develop and implement the MSL territory plan
Provide field medical information to the oncology team on an ongoing basis
Provide regular scientific training to commercial colleagues
Provide scientific and educational information on pipeline compounds, if requested
Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific information from HCPs
Perform all the above in an ethical and legally compliant manner and in accordance with the strategy developed by PFOB.
Qualifications and Experience
Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc)
Knowledge of clinical research and disease management, preferably in Oncology
Knowledge of the Belgian hospital environment and healthcare system
At least 2 years of experience in a customer facing (e.g. MSL, Product Specialist, Account Manager) role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology
Experienced in organizing and moderating meetings with HCPs
Able to exchange complex scientific information with HCPs
Able to work in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
Able to interact with HCPs on a peer-to-peer basis
Able to work independently in the field, manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
Driver's license
Fluency in the French, English and Dutch language
