We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our client's international DevOps and Security team. You will guide a distributed team located in Belgium and Taiwan, working closely with IT, the Security Office, and R&D management. The role focuses on coaching, coordination, and delivery excellence within a complex, technically demanding environment.
Role And Responsibilities
In this position, you will take ownership of team facilitation and process optimization, helping the team stay focused, autonomous, and continuously improving.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coaching the team to become self-organized and high-performing
* Removing impediments that block progress or efficiency
* Facilitating agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives
* Ensuring adherence to agreed processes and standards (e.g. Definition of Done)
* Supporting the Product Owner in setting and maintaining priorities
* Acting as a bridge between IT, Security, and R&D stakeholders
Your Profile
* Senior-level experience as a Scrum Master or in a leadership role within an Agile or Kanban environment
* Ability to coach, mentor, and train other Scrum Masters by example
* Strong communication and facilitation skills, capable of managing international and cross-functional collaboration
* Independent and proactive, able to operate confidently in interactions with technical and business stakeholders
* Hands-on mindset with a focus on delivering value and continuous improvement
* Experience in DevOps, infrastructure, and (product or cyber) security is a strong asset
* Willingness to work on-site in Belgium three days per week
* Excellent command of English (spoken and written), suitable for collaboration with global teams
