I'm looking for a
talented and motivated Java professional
for one of my clients in the region of
Ghent
who is a
globally recognized supplier of technical design software.
This role involves contributing to the backend development of their web-based Common Data Environment (CDE) and internal systems, working closely with an international team focused on enhancing collaboration in design and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate
with functional analysts, product designers, and frontend teams to develop modern web applications with a strong focus on user experience.
* Participate
in code reviews and adhere to established development methodologies.
* Investigate and resolve
application configuration or performance issues.
* Propose and implement
enhancements to improve product quality and processes.
Requirements:
* Strong
Java
programming skills, including Java 8 or higher, with substantial
backend experience.
* Proficiency in
Object-Oriented programming, Hibernate, and Spring/Spring Boot
.
* Experience with
Cloud technologies
(AWS, Azure, GCP) and
microservices architecture
.
* Familiarity with
Git
(GitHub) and
CI/CD principles
.
* Ability to write
clean, structured code
emphasizing
best practices
.
* Excellent
communication and collaboration
skills within a
team
setting.
* Self-motivation, initiative, and a strong interest in achieving
team objectives.
* Expertise in creating and utilizing
RESTful APIs
.
* Fluent in
English
.
* Preferred: Experience with
Docker & Kubernetes
.
