Project Description
As part of our large-scale transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, we are strengthening our Master Data team to ensure high-quality data readiness across multiple deployment waves. To support this effort, we are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Consultant with strong end-to-end project experience, excellent analytical capabilities, and hands-on expertise in data cleansing and migration.
The consultant will play a key role in preparing, validating, and migrating master data during several S/4HANA rollouts.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities
The SAP Master Data Consultant will be responsible for supporting all master-data related activities within the migration program, including:
• Executing an initial data cleansing exercise together with business stakeholders.
• Supporting the data migration track across multiple roll-outs.
• Performing data scoping and clarity activities, including defining selection criteria and migration boundaries.
• Preparing data input files, ensuring data consistency, completeness, and alignment with S/4 data structures.
• Executing data migration steps, using tools such as LSMW, S/4 Migration Cockpit, MDG, or custom-built utilities.
• Providing detailed data analysis, identifying inconsistencies, and proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborating closely with other functional domains to ensure end-to-end process alignment and data integrity.
• Documenting rules, cleansing strategies, migration results, and key decisions.
Technical Profile Requirements
• Proven hands-on experience with end-to-end SAP project implementations involving Master Data.
• Strong understanding of data integration across other SAP domains (MM, SD, PP, FI, etc.).
• Experience defining scope selection criteria, data cleansing rules, and migration strategies.
• Strong data analysis capabilities, including ability to detect patterns, gaps, and quality issues.
• Experience with data migration tools such as:
• LSMW
• S/4 Migration Cockpit
• SAP MDG
• Optional: BAPIs, IDocs, or custom load programs
• Experience working in template-based and custom-built SAP environments.

• Formal SAP certifications are a strong plus but not mandatory.
