Job Title: Business Development Manager (Packaging - Custom)
Location: Belgium
Package: €60 - 80k + Company Car + Fuel Card + Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Flemish market, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and market expansion
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in premium, cosmetics, consumer products, confectionery, and beverages (both SMEs and multinationals)
* Analyze the market, spot opportunities, and convert them into valuable contracts by offering tailor-made, high-quality packaging solutions
* Act as a problem solver: provide technical advice, develop customized solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, quality, and service
* Work closely with internal production and innovation teams to align offerings with market needs and contribute to the development of new products and services
* Manage commercial activities efficiently and provide regular reporting to the Sales Director
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in a commercial/B2B sales role, with a proven track record in new business development and selling customized industrial solutions
* Strong commercial drive combined with technical insight and the ability to quickly develop in a high-quality industrial B2B environment
* Fluent in Dutch, with good working knowledge of French and English
* Experience selling Folding Cartons, Labels, Rigid Boxes, Advent Calendars or Promotional Packaging
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
