Job Description
We seek a high commercial talent capable of leading growth and translating customer needs into practical solutions.
* Build and develop strong relationships with existing and new accounts in Italy, ensuring profitable long-term partnerships with wholesalers and distributors.
* Achieve turnover and margin objectives, and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
* Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies, manage product portfolios, pricing, and strategic partnerships aligned with international strategy.
* Lead and coach a team of agents and sales representatives.
* Provide excellent service through product training and technical support.
* Represent BMS at exhibitions and sector events.
* Deliver commercial and technical presentations confidently.
* Collaborate closely with the head office in Belgium on marketing, innovation, R&D, and logistics.
* Participate as an influential member of the leadership team and report directly to the International Sales Manager.
Profile
An intercultural networker with a deep understanding of the agricultural sector, commercially driven.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioengineering, Agronomy, Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar role (Sales Manager, KAM, Commercial Director) within crop-related sectors such as fertilizers, crop protection, or seeds.
* Basic knowledge of plants and plant nutrition.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Fluent in Italian; professional proficiency in French and/or English.
