CMDB Administrator
As a CMDB Administrator, your primary mission is to maintain the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), playing a pivotal role in ensuring our IT services run efficiently and without disruption. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with multiple IT Service Management domains, including Change Management, Asset Management, and User Access Management.
Responsabilities:
1. Maintain and update the CMDB to reflect current asset and configuration data.
For each, you will ensure that the information is accurate, complete, and aligned with the real-world IT infrastructure.
2. Validate and improve CMDB data quality in coordination with other IT teams.
For each, you will proactively identify inconsistencies and drive improvements to maintain a reliable source of truth.
3. Support configuration and asset management through accurate record-keeping and reporting.
For each, you will generate insightful reports and collaborate with colleagues to enhance data quality and usability.
4. Process and update tasks linked to Service Request Forms (SRFs) and Requests for Change (RFCs).
For each, you will follow structured procedures to ensure CMDB updates are timely and accurate.
5. Track and follow up on asset deliveries to ensure consistency with orders.
For each, you will monitor the asset lifecycle and ensure all records are up to date and complete.
6. Assist in managing user access by maintaining the account repository.
For each, you will process access requests and updates according to predefined protocols.
You have the following skills
7. Hands-on experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) — maintaining, updating, or validating CI data. ( IS A MUST )
8. Passion for IT Service Management and a meticulous approach to data accuracy.
9. Knowledge of ITSM frameworks like ITIL or COBIT (preferred).
10. Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW), particularly in data handling and reporting.
11. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
12. A flexible thinker with a structured, process-focused, and customer-oriented mindset.
13. Willingness to learn and grow in the ITSM field with provided training.
14. Native Dutch speaker with excellent English proficiency.

15. You have at least 1-2 of professional Hands-on experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) — maintaining, updating, or validating CI data. ( IS A MUST )
