As Business Controller, you’ll join the finance team and act as a key sparring partner for leadership. You will review and challenge financial performance, support strategic decisions and translate data into clear, actionable insights.

You’ll work closely with another controller and collaborate with leadership across multiple companies within the group. This is a highly visible role where your input will directly influence investment decisions, cost optimisation and risk management.
Your impact will include:
* Acting as a finance business partner to management and operational teams
* Reviewing financial reporting and turning data into meaningful insights
* Building and improving dashboards and management reporting
* Supporting investment decisions, cost-saving initiatives and financial risk analysis
* Answering ad-hoc business questions with strong analytical thinking
* Driving process improvements and helping modernise finance systems
* Reviewing CVs screened by HR and supporting hiring feedback (second-round interview stage)

Requirements
Must-haves
* Strong experience as a Business Controller, Financial Controller or Finance Business Partner
* Advanced Excel skills
* Strong Power BI expertise (essential)
* Fluent Dutch (mandatory)
* Analytical mindset with strong communication skills
Nice to have
* Experience in project-based, engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments
* Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 or Axapta
* Ability to challenge stakeholders and influence decisions
